The re-enactment of the departure of the troopships was a highlight of the weekend for me. If you look closely at the photo below you can not only see three naval ships, but also the submarine HMAS Rankin and a helicopter following them. Here is a link to a news article about the departure. While the troopships were leaving there was a ceremony to open the new National Anzac centre.
